HHC (Handheld Contact) enables
ACT! users to wirelessly synchronise ACT! contacts,
activities, calendar and notes etc between the
central database and their Blackberry in real time.
Contact records can be edited in
the field on the Blackberry and updates
automatically transferred to the central system in
real time.
Activities may be scheduled for
remote users and synchronised out to them during
they day.
The
system works typically via an O2 or Vodafone
gateway, or there’s an Enterprise version that will
work with your BES server.

When you
need to get data into ACT! Premium, MergeAdmin allows you to
selectively update Contact fields from a text or csv file.
MergeAdmin
matches on up to 3 contact fields and allows you to
specify what action to take upon a match, no match, or
multiple match conditions. The utility will perform a
database backup before the merge and create an error log
for each merge. MergeAdmin allows you to map input
fields to ACT! Contact fields and only updates these
selected fields leaving other data intact. Maps can be
saved and reused.
CompanyMaker
places a link on the Tools menu that will create
companies from the current contact lookup in ACT! and
link the contacts to the companies. If the company
already exists CompanyMaker will just link the contact
to the company. The trial version will only run on
the first 5 records in the lookup.
