Before reviewing the demonstration, you may need to add the demo site to your trusted sites list in IE. To do this, open Internet Explorer and navigate to Tools, Internet Options, Security tab and select 'Trusted Sites' then click on the 'Sites' button and add the following site:

User names and passwords:

Username: standard

If you like the demo and choose to implement ACT Premium Web Client, you'll need to be aware of the Minimum requirements that must be in place in terms of server hardware, internet connection bandwidth (upstream) and operating systems etc.

These requirements will depend largely upon the number of internet users and the frequency of use. There are other considerations that we will gladly advise you on.

As a minimum, you can simply set up a Windows XP Professional PC with IIS (Microsoft Internet Information Services that ships with XP Pro) and use this as your ACT! Pro. for Web server. You'll just need a dedicated IP address and you should really organise a minimum upstream internet connection of 512mb.

Our demo infrastructure comprises:

Intel (R) Celeron (R) 2.40 GHz processor
1 Gbyte Memory and 7200rpm HDD
Microsoft Windows Server 2003 (Web Edition)
SQL 2005 Express (lite version of SQL 2005*)
