ACT! Premium for Web provides ACT! users with anytime, anywhere access to centralised data in real time through a Web browser. ACT! Premium for Web may be implemented within your own network or we can provide a fully managed, hosted solution.

The simple server installation allows for easy roll-out to users and provides organisations with the security of knowing that critical customer data stays within their firewalls, not on individual user PC’s.

ACT! may be published as a web service on any Windows machine that is able to be configured with Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services).

For remote access, the best performance is enjoyed where the database is established in a data centre with a secure 100mbit synchronous internet connection (we can help with this), but strong DSL broadband connections within corporate office environments are often suitable as well.

ACT! Premium for Web also serves as a viable deployment method across a LAN (Local Area Network) in environments where installation of the application software on individual workstations is impractical or where the workstations do not meet the minimum system requirements for ACT!

The ACT Premium product license includes the Web server software at no extra cost.

The ACT Premium for Web Client delivers all of the benefits of hosted Web-based solutions, without the recurring cost of monthly fees!

  • Enables users to move seamlessly between the Web and Windows products when used in a complementary fashion.

  • Provides a rich, intuitive user experience similar to Sage ACT! Premium.

  • Allows clients to easily transfer layouts, templates, reports and user administration from Windows to the Web product. 

  • Offers a solution to organisations who would prefer not to upgrade PC hardware to meet the minimum system requirements for the Windows solution.

Sage recommends employing separate Web and Database servers for more than 25 users. Concurrent User Limits: Windows XP Professional: 10 users, Windows Vista or Windows 7:10 users. Please ensure that the latest Windows updates are installed. Performance will be improved with higher specification computers and networks.

  • Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or later
  • CD - ROM drive

  • 2GB free hard drive space, plus space for ACT! database and datastore
  • VGA or higher monitor resolution
  • High speed Internet and/or TCP/IP connection (Internet is optional, but required for ACT Premium Web Client access outside of the company's network)

For a user count above 50, add 15 MB for the application and 10MB to SQL Server of RAM memory per user.
